Harry Vloet BV is a true family owned company with over 70 years of experiencie in the automotive business. Our company was founded in the city of Nijmegen (Holland) in 1946 by Harry Vloet, a visionary man who started buying and selling used trucks and cars right after WW II had ended. His company grew rapidly; from all over Holland clients came over to purchase one of his vehicles due to his excellent reputation.
In 1953 he moved the company to a bigger yard in Mook (Holland) still growing every year to eventually one of the largest sellers of used cars in that era.
The second generation; Mr. Willem Vloet made his entry in the company in the year 1969 after his father had suddenly and sadly died. Realizing that Holland is just a small country he converted the family business into a worldwide trader in used trucks and spare parts, specialising in export to mainly countries in South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
By 1993 the company had grown so much that more space was desperately needed so a new and much bigger (16.500 m2) yard was purchased in the same municipality of Mook (Holland). Here we constructed a very modern and well equipped premises for selling, dismantling and loading used trucks from which we serve our clients world wide.
Since 2005 a third generation has joined the management team, still led by Mr. Willem Vloet as the general manager; his son Mr. Willem Vloet jr is the commercial manager whereas another grandson of Harry Vloet’s; Mr. Harry van den Berk, is in charge of all yard operations.
